Your first psychiatric evaluation is a comprehensive 60-minute session designed to give us a full picture of your mental health. We'll discuss your current concerns, mental health history, medical history, family history, and personal goals. This is a collaborative conversation — there are no wrong answers. At the end of the evaluation, we'll share our clinical impressions and work with you to develop a personalized care plan. You are encouraged to ask questions throughout.

Research consistently shows that telehealth mental health services are as effective as in-person care for most conditions. Telehealth also offers additional benefits: no travel required, greater privacy, more flexible scheduling, and the comfort of receiving care in your own home. We use secure, HIPAA-compliant technology to ensure your sessions are private and protected.

You'll need a smartphone, tablet, or computer with a camera and microphone, and a reliable internet connection. We'll provide you with a secure link to join your session. If you have any technical difficulties, our team is here to help you get connected.

If you are experiencing a mental health crisis or are in immediate danger, please call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room. You can also call or text the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline by dialing 988. Our practice is not an emergency service, but we are committed to connecting you with the appropriate level of care.
